I-RoCS

In my project-based dissertation, I present the final result and the entire process of designing the exterior of an autonomous cleaning robot as part of the Research and Development of an Intelligent Robotic Cleaning System (I-RoCS) project in collaboration with the companies Atena, Climex, and the University of Aveiro. I was responsible for the design aspect of the project and worked as part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of professionals from the fields of automation, engineering, electronics, chemistry, and cleaning services.

PRÉ

PRÉ is a brand that specializes in children's furniture, particularly for nurseries. However, their products are also suitable for use in a domestic setting. PRÉ prioritizes low production costs and simple assembly in their products, and aims to offer a cohesive range of children's furniture that is designed to fit seamlessly into the intended space.

Alma

Alma is a wooden bench that is inspired by traditional wedge benches. It is made from wood derivatives and does not require any hardware. Alma is a versatile and customizable bench that can be used in both individual and collective settings. It consists of four parts: a top, two legs, and a beam, and can be customized with different colors using fibracolor.

Aro

Aro is a lamp that is inspired by the rising sun and the passage of time throughout the day. It is designed to mimic the experience of opening a curtain and adjusting the amount of light that enters a room. The lamp has a touch sensor all around its circumference, allowing the user to control the intensity of the light by touching it. The touch and gradual on and off mode allows the user to have a personal and interactive relationship with the lamp.

TRAYBLE

TRAYBLE is a table that also functions as a tray. It is intended for use by students or young adults who live in shared residences or apartments. The table is available in different colors, which allows each user to easily distinguish their own tray. With TRAYBLE, users can eat directly from the tray, which can be placed on the table or on the legs of the table. This eliminates the need for traditional dishes and allows for a more convenient and space-saving dining experience.
